Position Description: Coordinates budget analysis and operations for the Department of Student Life, the Veteran Student Support Center, the Women's Center and/or other areas as assigned. Administers General Fee budgets for student organizations and all student organization agency accounts. Assumes responsibility for financial management of assigned accounts. Supports Student Life business functions. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong customer service skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Non-Profit Administration or related field and three years of budget or accounting experience, OR in lieu of degree, seven years progressively responsible budget experience. Experience in a business/customer service environment. Ability to explain financial statements to non-accountant users. Proficiency with PC computer systems, spreadsheets and word processing required. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement involving fiscal operations. Ability to maintain confidentiality on a wide range of issues. Ability to work effectively across the University community, including administrators and students.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with PeopleSoft financials. Ability to contribute to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and inclusive excellence of the University community.
