Title: Account Manager
Location: MA-Norwood
An Account Manager is responsible for overall client relationship management and expansion of business opportunities and ultimately ensures the clients' needs are met with respect to service delivery.
The Account Manager will:
* Develop, present (sell), and implement results-driven marketing, communications and education strategies for employees, primarily for defined contribution clients in the Taft-Hartley and mid market segments
* Build strong relationships with external client contacts and internal business partners. Exhibit professionalism, positive attitude, sound judgment, and the ability to manage expectations
* Enhance department efficiencies through sharing of best practices, improvement of processes, and prudent budget management. Delegate appropriate client projects to junior team members (Assistant Account Managers, Marketing Assistant); help train and mentor while overseeing work
* Demonstrate expert knowledge of benefits industry; marketing, communications and education; and individual clients/plans.
* Assist with global marketing initiatives.
* BA, BS preferred or equivalent work experience
* Three or more years of marketing experience
* Communications and/or marketing experience required
* Experience in benefits outsourcing industry, particularly defined contribution (401(k)), particularly relevant
