The Leadperson will communicate and coordinate with internal departments as necessary to meet customer requirements as outlined on pick sheet. Duties include, but are not limited to: coordinate with department personnel regarding daily shipments; prepare incoming product for shipment; verify items to be shipped, checking against pick lists; record all pertinent information; ship outgoing material, product or supplies; notify proper personnel of discrepancies; strap and stretch wrap cartons to pallets in preparation for shipment; apply appropriate labeling as required; apply proper documentation; and fill in for other areas of the department as needed.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a shipping/warehouse environment, with relevant prior indirect supervisory experience. The ability to operate a forklift and related warehouse equipment is essential, as well as related computer skills and exp.
