Classified The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California at Santa Barbara is accepting applications for open-level search for a tenure-track Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor position in the broad area of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with an effective appointment date of July 1, 2020. This hire may involve an appointment to an endowed chair. The Department has particular (non-exclusive) interest in applicants with a depth of expertise in data science, machine learning, networking and communications, computer engineering, circuits, electronic and photonic materials, physics and devices along with the ability to collaborate with faculty across disciplines.

Candidates should have an established research reputation or outstanding research potential, the ability to attract external research funding, and a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service.

Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a closely related field by the time of appointment. Completed applications will consist of a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching statement (2-page limit), statement of research interests (3-page limit), and contact information for three letters of reference. SUMMARY

The Cook must be able to perform a variety of functions and tasks pertinent to the production, service, and distribution of foods to patients, employees, and catered services at the specified times. Maintains high quality standards in all aspects of production and service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Prepares from standardized recipes large-scale food production for patients, cafeteria, guests and catering clients according to established forecasts within specified timeframes. Ensures that food service is provided correctly to patients and employees making use of patient menus, recipes, dietary restrictions, garnishing instructions and portion charts.

* Prepares, serves and stores food in a safe and sanitary manner ensuring all safety and sanitation procedures are followed in accordance with Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles.

* Utilizes all products in a cost effective manner preparing only to the forecasted level. Monitors food production and makes adjustments throughout the shift to ensure minimal product waste.

* Demonstrates an ability to work effectively with peers, supervisors and managers as a member of the team and establishes collaborative and supportive relationships. Cross trains in various cook positions and assists in the proper training and orientation of new staff.

* Follows established policies and procedures for all aspects of the job being performed. Follows the assigned cleaning procedures and cleaning schedules.

The Norfolk Housing Authority is seeking a qualified applicant to
oversee the daily management and operation of 64 units of 667-1
elderly housing and 20 units of 705-1 family housing. The Executive
Director reports to a five member Board of Commissioners.





Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include at least two years of experience in
housing management, community development, public administration, or
a closely related field. Knowledge of the principles and practices
of housing management, finances, and maintenance systems is also
required. Computer proficiency is needed, and a knowledge of PHA or
other related software is a plus. Written and verbal communication
skills are needed, as well as a willingness to work with people of
various socio-economic backgrounds. Certification as a MPHA from a
DHCD approved Massachusetts Public Housing Administrator
Certification Program is desired, or must be able to obtain within
one year. The applicant must be bondable and pass a Criminal History
screening.





Salary
Range: Salary is commensurate with experience and education
within the Department of Housing and Community Developments
Executive Director Salary Schedule guidelines.
