* Success managing and prioritizing all tasks associated with donor development work, including writing successful and compelling proposals and making in-person gift solicitations

About the Director of Parent and International Philanthropy
Reporting directly to Vice President for Institutional Advancement along with a dotted line to the Associate Vice President of International and Global Engagement, the Director of Parent and International Philanthropy will be responsible for continuing to increase leadership and major gift level support from parents as well as a build a base of international donors and prospects. This person will develop, plan, and implement programs to encourage and increase parent giving as well as enhance parent relations. The Board of Trustees invites applications and nominations for the position of President East Los Angeles College (ELAC). The Board is seeking a well-qualified candidate to provide executive leadership and advocacy for the college, to be responsible and directly accountable for all college operations, and to be a district team member of the Chancellor's cabinet. The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the primary mission of the community college, which includes transfer and career and technical education, as well as basic skills preparation and community service programs. The President must thoroughly understand and embrace the role of an integrated suburban community college within the multicultural community it serves.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree or advanced degree of at least equivalent standard from an accredited college or university. The required degree must be completed at the time of filing an application.
One year of successful full-time experience in a senior leadership position in education, business, industry or government, preferably as a college or university administrator.
A sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of district faculty, staff and students.

Salary
The current salary range is $206,836 - $256,234 annually. Employee benefits include 15.5 paid holidays and 24 days paid vacation annually, comprehensive medical/hospital, dental, and vision care plans, and a $50,000 group life insurance policy.

The Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management (ESPM) and the Native American Studies program in the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in the area of Native American Studies and the Environment with an expected start date of July 1, 2020.

The relationship between Native Americans and environment has important political, historical, human welfare, environmental justice, and ecological dimensions. We seek applications from scholars who foreground indigeneity in their environmental research and whose work seeks to advance understanding of and solutions to environmental challenges such as: climate change, natural resources and environmental management, water and land access and governance, food security and food sovereignty, and/or public health at local, national and/or international scales.
