Regis University seeks a visionary and collaborative leader with a demonstrated commitment to educating a diverse student body to serve as the Dean of the Library and Director of the Center for Student Success. The Dean will implement a strategic vision for co-locating various academic support units in Dayton Memorial Library. Candidates should have a proven track record leading productive and innovative teams, mentoring library faculty and staff, and partnering with departments across the university. The Dean supervises department heads for all library services, as well as Regis' writing and tutoring center and our disability office. As a chief executive, the Dean reports directly to the Provost and serves on the President's advisory council.

Minimum Qualifications
1) ALA-accredited Master of Library Science, Master of Information Science, or equivalent.
2) Seven years of increasing responsibility in an academic leadership position, with demonstrated ability to lead library faculty and staff in the creation of welcoming and productive learning environments.
3) Outstanding candidates will demonstrate a commitment to serving a culturally diverse student body through delivering a student-centered library experience, in addition to a history of successful collaboration with student disability services.
4) Expertise supporting both traditional undergraduate and non-traditional, working adult students; familiarity with distance education programs and delivery systems; strong record of scholarship.
5) Commitment to support Dayton Memorial Library's Diversity Council, which works closely with the University Diversity Council, as well as the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusive Excellence.

Preferred Qualifications
1) Doctorate or additional graduate work in related field.
2) Experience managing a library renovation and budget.
3) Fundraising and university development experience.

Queer Migrations

The Department of Feminist Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in queer migrations. Research may focus on trans/queer geographies, immigration and migration, racialization, decoloniality, and flows of people, ideas, and objects across borders. Of special interest to us are innovative methodological approaches to gender and sexual citizenship, discourses of belonging, and human rights in the context of state and social violence against LGBTQ communities in historical or contemporary national and transnational frames. This position is part of a campus-wide cluster hire in migration/immigration, with the expectation of continuing collaboration among faculty hires.

Applicants must have completed all requirements for the PhD, except the dissertation, in feminist/women's/gender studies or a related interdisciplinary field at the time of application. Additionally, the candidate must have a fully conferred PhD by the anticipated appointment start date of July 1, 2020. The Department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, service, and mentoring.

The position entails participation in the LGBTQ Studies minor and teaching core and specialized courses. We have a thriving major, minor, and PhD program with a focus on new sexualities and social justice from intersectional and transnational perspectives.

The Board is seeking a well-qualified candidate to provide executive leadership and advocacy for the college, to be responsible and directly accountable for all college operations, and to be a district team member of the Chancellor's cabinet. The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the primary mission of the community college, which includes transfer and career and technical education, as well as basic skills preparation and community service programs. The President must thoroughly understand and embrace the role of an integrated suburban community college within the multicultural community it serves.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree or advanced degree of at least equivalent standard from an accredited college or university. The required degree must be completed at the time of filing an application.
One year of successful full-time experience in a senior leadership position in education, business, industry or government, preferably as a college or university administrator.
A sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of district faculty, staff and students.

Salary
The current salary range is $206,836 - $256,234 annually. Employee benefits include 15.5 paid holidays and 24 days paid vacation annually, comprehensive medical/hospital, dental, and vision care plans, and a $50,000 group life insurance policy.
