* Responds to telephone inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.
* Admits patients to the hospital and registers outpatients with appropriate physician orders.
* Documents calls and related admission information.

Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

* Required Credential(s):

* BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
* Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention credentialed from the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
* Valid Driver's license required upon hire. Driver's license must match the state of residency at least within 90 days of hire.


Education:

* Master's Level , Master's degree required in related field (Social Work or Psychology)

Work Experience:

Job Summary:

Coordinates a centralized bed management system to facilitate efficient admissions and transfers, optimize occupancy and avoid delays in service.

Responsibilities:

* Communicates with clinical staff to determine status of pending discharges, transfers and bed availability and plans bed assignments accordingly.
* Reviews all admissions and transfers for clinical/unit appropriateness and medical necessity. Takes appropriate action in the event criteria are not met or appropriate resources are not available.

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides behavioral health counseling services.

Responsibilities:

* Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.
* Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.
* Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
* Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.

Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

* Required Credential(s):

* BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Required before provisioning of care.
* Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention credentialed from the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.


Education:

* Bachelor's Level Degree, Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science required

Work Experience:

* At least one year of experience working with various populations especially adolescents and eating disorders in a residential or behavioral health setting. preferred.
